Can you have too many blogs? I know I am part of several blogs, but they are all shared or directed at school things and for a while I have been thinking about creating one that is just mine! I have tried to journal but I don't keep up. Blogging is so easy and I can keyboard so much faster than I can write! So here we go. . . I have some plans, but will just write about the things that are going on around me sometimes just simple everyday things that we don't always take the time to appreciate. I also want to share some of my photos and thoughts with some friends and family who are not close by. Right now, I plan to have Blast from the Past Photos on Sundays, Wordless Wednesdays and What's on your Fridge Fridays. I will try to post often and keep you entertained. Sunday's Blast from the Past

This week's blast from the past is in honor of Veteran's Day, which is this Wednesday, November 11. The sixth graders in our school have created a wall of honor in the hallway. They ask anyone in our school who had a relative that had served in the military to bring some information about them and they have posted it. For the wall of honor, I found this picture of my dad who was a Captain in the 2nd Armor Division of the Army in the early 50's. That means he drove tanks! He was stationed in Germany. In 1954 my mom flew to Germany and they were married. They lived in Germany for 9 months. He also served in the National Guard for many years.
