In the Garden

We got tomatoes, onions, peppers, eggplants, squash, potatoes,  cucumbers, beans, corn, and peas. There is also some strawberries that are just now getting ripe and some blueberries ripening on the bushes.  Right now there are not any weeds and it got some rain this morning, so all is good.

Favorite

The favorite part of my day was receiving this flower delivery!  It was from my brother and sister-in-law for Mother's Day.  It was unexpected and sweet.


The rest of my day was spent making the secret sauce for the 450 chicken halves that Peanut was grilling today.  It's a greasy messy job involving some dish washing just to keep things from sliding away!  There was some laundry and ironing going on too--not a bad day but flowers made it better!

This collection of pez dispensers was left on the Ponderosa by one of the ponderosa princesses who left other collections here!  They do not want them but do not want me to get rid of them either. Other collections include erasers, stickers, buttons, books, and various other stuff!
