We had our annual egg hunt and Easter picnic on the Ponderosa last week end. There was some really delicious food, competitive egg hunting and perfect weather.

it's me
We were in the Disney Store when Bailee began saying, "It's me, It's me!" A stack of princess dolls had caught her attention and one had red pig tails just like her!
Of course, her Nana made sure it went home with her!

strawberry pie
There was a little snow on the roof this morning and sleet fell earlier, but in my kitchen today its May!
Strawberry Pie
Ingredients:
1 refrigerated or frozen Pie Crust
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 1/2 Tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1 box strawberry jello
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Poke holes in bottom of pie crust and bake for 15-18 minutes until the edges are browned.
Allow crust to cool and place strawberries in the bottom
Stir together water sugar and cornstarch and bring to a boil.
Return mixture to simmer, stirring constantly until thickened.
Remove from heat, add Jello and stir until dissolved
Pour mixture over strawberries, and refrigerate until set.
Don't forget the whipped cream before serving.
