What should we do today?

This morning I was awake, but not up, and thinking about what I should do. More cleaning was about to win, when the phone rang. It was a nice lady and tax client who grows two gardens calling to ask if we would like to buy a bushel of green beans. This solved my problem about what to do today!
With the help of my able assistant who did most of the breaking, while I multi-tasked the washing and blanching, we were able to freeze 15 quarts of beans. We are all set for the winter! It didn't even take the whole day, there was plenty of time left for blogging and laundry! The cleaning can wait until another day.
