Last few weeks of 2014:
We have so much fun, I can't keep up so I'm hitting the highlights:
November 27, 2014
Thanksgiving and Tracie's 31st birthday fell on the same day so we celebrated both.
Mom's famous layered salad and Dad's dressing.
This year instead of the usual Thanksgiving wrestling match, there was a dance off.
Tracie and Joey left for a trip to Charleston, SC for a few days and Parker stayed on the Ponderosa with us. We were lazy and played lots of monopoly. There was one day that we could play outside.
Then it was on to December which went by in a whirl:
Dec 1
Christmas crafts after school at Stephanie's
December 4
Senior Christmas Luncheon at First Christian Church
Lots of good food and fellowship with all these guys!
December 6 Christmas Market Place at the Library and Byrdstown Christmas Parade
December 17
Making Christmas Cookies with the Grands
December 20-23
We all headed for Gatlinburg for a few days of fun in the mountains. We had fun in our cabin cooking our meals, playing games and making Christmas crafts. We went downtown and to Dollywood. The weather was unseasonably warm and our cabin was just right for all of us and had a terrific view.
December 24
Christmas Eve
Began the day with a breakfast at Mom and Dad's a late lunch at Uncle Sam's and then everyone got ready for Santa!
December 25
Santa brought Parker a BB gun and I cooked a Christmas Dinner for Peanut, myself, Mom and Dad and Kevin, Arthur and Sybil Crouch. Brooks and Brynn and Bailee got a visit from Santa at their home!
December 31
The Gibsons all met at Uncle Sam's for finger foods and bingo!
Now we're ready for 2015!
